Christopher Sutton

Chris is a senior solicitor with over 40 years’ experience protecting and pursuing the rights and interests of clients. What is most important to Chris is a satisfied client and Chris always strives to exceed client expectations.

Chris commenced his legal career as an articled clerk with a country firm in Tamworth. He completed his university degree with several academic awards. In the late 80’s and during 90’s Chris was a partner then solicitor principal of what became the most successful general practice and personal injury firm in Western Sydney. Chris then established a successful general practice on the Sunshine Coast before working as a senior employee then special counsel for a national law firm between 2011 to 2020.

With partners James and Soren Chris built The Firm Law Group from ground up using modern technologies unburdened by the bureaucracy and systemic weaknesses of larger or older firms all the while maintaining traditional values and striving for excellence.

Chris is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales, Law Society of Queensland, Australian Lawyers Alliance, Supreme Court of New South Wales, Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia.

Chris has represented clients in most jurisdictions in Australia ranging from Magistrates Courts and Civil and Administrative Tribunals to the District, Supreme, Family and High Court.
